Zygor's Alliance & Horde 1-70 Leveling Guide
Introduction
Another new Leveling Guide has surfaced in what is turning out to be quite the crowded market. Can Zygor's Leveling Guide set itself apart from the crowd and come up with enough innovations to warrant another guide purchase? With a $29.99 each price point, guides for both factions, and the most information I have ever seen in a guide, the answer to that is YES, YES, Y-E-S.
Map Mod - 4/5
Let me start off by saying this. This map mod is not an all in game leveling guide like Team iDemise. Instead, it is what I like to call the Encyclopedia of Leveling. Zygor's map mod contains so much information on how to complete the quests and exactly what you need to be doing, that it's almost as valuable as Wowhead or Thottbot, and thats not just fluff. Every single step that you have to complete, every quest that needs to be done, is explained, in detail, directly on your in game map. The only difference is, the steps are not listed in order directly on the map mod. Zygor has used his exclusive deal with the creator of Cartographer to his advantage. This may be the mod to beat.

Videos - 0/5
Zygor's Alliance and Horde guides do not use any videos or the leveling process.
Flow of Guide - 5/5
The guide couldn't be easier to understand. With great organization of the PDF file and the most detailed map mod in the game, the steps are easy to understand and execute. On top of that, I never hit a point where a step was missing or something didn't make sense. The steps themselves are very fast for leveling, mostly quest based, and all flow together very well. The only other guide that even gets close to this level of continuity is maybe Brian Kopp but, even he has some steps that I feel are iffy. Zygor's Alliance and Horde guides have the flow department down to a T.
Presentation – 4 / 5
The guide uses a combination of a PDF and a map mod. The PDF is very well organized and easy on the eyes, however it is lacking any bells and whistles. Some feel this is a good thing, the guide cuts out on fluff and shows the steps and coordinates in a minimal fashion. It is not hard to read any of the text and the map mod has a very appealing design. In game the steps are easy to read and the writing wont make you blind after a couple of hours of in-game reading. Overall, very good presentation but the PDF file could use more screenshots or something to break it up a bit.

Overall - 4/5
Zygor's Horde and Alliance Guides are top notch. With what may be the best in game map mod, and the most detail I have ever seen from a leveling guide, it is hard not to get excited. It is like one of the testimonials on the site says, “It's almost like the game is on autopilot”. The only downside is that the PDF isn't the most interesting looking, albeit the best organization I have seen. The steps are clear, concise, and VERY easy to follow. This guide is probably the easiest way to level I have ever seen. It isn't quite as fast as the Team iDemise guide, due to the alt-tabbing, but it is definitely the easiest to understand and follow without feeling lost. Keep in mind too that he is currently the only guide maker with both a Horde AND Alliance guide on the market. At $29.99 each for a limited time, they are also some of the cheapest.
Summary
Zygor has improved on a lot of the most important aspects of his guide. He has for the first time, included a Wowhead level of detail into an in game map mod. It's refreshing to be able to sit in game and read how to complete a quest, instead of going and looking up the information somewhere else. Not only that but what he says works and it works well. As I said before, if you are wondering whether or not to buy this guide, the answer is YES. I own all of the guides and even though I don't always use his steps in order, I still refer to his map mod for information regularly. If you decide to buy Zygor's Alliance or Horde leveling guide, you WILL NOT regret it.
